MORE ON THE WPS AGENDA

Background

Conflict and instability continue to disproportionately affect women and girls in Northern for over 2 decades. Traditional peacebuilding methods often overlook the unique perspectives and contributions women bring to mediation processes. The digital age offers innovative pathways to include these voices, making peacebuilding more inclusive and effective. The SCALE_Mediation Project, a collaborative initiative by CLEEN and UN Women, aims to foster digital peacebuilding with a gender-sensitive lens through the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) portal.

This online presence seeks to empower women and engage communities in peace processes by leveraging technology for mediation and conflict resolution.
